Distress ink blending is simple and you can create beautiful backgrounds, so why not to make one more card, with another Distress ink combination. In my three previous cards I used flower stamps that I heat embossed using a white embossing powder, which you can see HERE. For this card I used a background stamp. I didn't show it in the video, but you I used the stamp on one other card that you can see HERE. You can always use black ink, if you don't have supplies for heat embossing, but these supplies are not overly expensive and last you for a long time. Heat embossing just brings the stamping to the next level and it's also great used in combination with Distress inks. The Distress inks I used here are: - Shaded Lilac - Victorian Velvet I applied the inks directly onto the card base, which wasn't super easy as the card stock is not best for ink blending, but I managed. I started with the Shaded Lilac at the top and at the bottom I blended in the Victorian Velvet. Lastly I adhered a stamped image of a polar bear that I had left over from another project and at the top I adhered a sentiment saying Get Well Soon. For both I used a double-sided foam tape. You can see a quick video of me making this card on my YouTube channel or Instagram and make sure you subscribe/follow. QUICK TUTORIALYOU MIGHT ALSO LIKEPIN MEDid you like the card?
